The Public Works Authority (PWA) of the State of Qatar (ASHGHAL) wishes to pre-qualify a short-list of competent contractor organizations (the “Pre-qualified Applicants”), for undertaking the CCTV Condition Surveys of Drainage Assets.  The PWA is seeking Expressions of Interest from applicants wishing to be prequalified to carry out the services. The Applicant shall demonstrate relevant experience, capabilities, understanding and commitment to working with the PWA to achieve the expected delivery and standard of service.

 

 

The scope of services will include:

 CCTV to be carried out on multiple pipe sizes from 150mm diameter (Laterals) to 3000mm Diameter (Trunk Main)
 A visual survey shall be carried out in accordance with the WRc ‘Model Contract Document for Sewer Condition Inspection’ 2nd edition.
 The pipelines shall be inspected by means of a visual or closed-circuit television (CCTV) examination, in lengths determined by the course of construction. For flexible pipes, the CCTV examination shall use light rings to measure deformations.
 The contractor is to use their own licensed copy of IBAK IKAS 32 (including scoring module) Software as this is the PWA Standard. Other software maybe proposed as long as it is compatible and is able to directly interface with IBAK IKAS 32.   This software is for the acquisition of sewer TV inspection data with a standard GIS interface. The output, inspection data (digital reports, statistics, MPEG and Panoramo films) shall be transferred to DVD for transmission to Infrastructure Affairs.
 Camera Specification:
Camera Selection Sewerage pipes of sizes up to 450mm (inclusive) shall require colour CCTV unit with pan and tilt facilities capable of turning at right angles to pipe’s axis over an entire vertical circle (minimum pan of 270 degrees and rotation of 360 degrees) . For sewer(s) more than 450mm diameter, CCTV unit with pan, tilt and zoom facilities shall be used to allow clear interpretation of all defects and its severity. 
Lighting  suitable to allow clear picture of entire inner pipe wall extending at least 3 meters in front and operative in 100 percent humidity conditions. Include data view display feature capable of showing standard information.
