The project’s scope will include road developments at a total length of 3.2 km, providing 6.4 km of pedestrian footpaths and cycle paths, landscaping works, and upgrading street lighting systems.
It will also improve infrastructure utilities in the area, such as sewer network rehabilitation, upgrading the TSE network and surface water drainage network, and providing protection for the existing power lines and telecommunications cables. Further to upgrading the services of the infrastructure utilities, the project will also improve the signalised intersection to strengthen the traffic flow in the area at Al Sadd Intersection.
