Vision Competition
for West Bay North Beach Development
(Competition Prize QAR 300,000)
The Public Works Authority (PWA ) “Ashghal” in the State of Qatar, intends to develop West Bay North Beach area within Doha City, to create a major viable, connected, sustainable and attractive waterfront destination of choice that can complement the existing recreational, leisure and hospitality offering within the City and wider Doha Municipality.
Accordingly, Ashghal are launching a competition to attract local Qatar Registered Companies as well as International Consultants and Architects. The Competition will bring fresh ideas to develop this waterfront (including key connections through West Bay North from City Centre Mall, the existing hotels/residences, Metro and Corniche).
Participants are encouraged to be genuine, creative and innovative in their approach, however proposals must be realistic and achievable, with the aim of the development being operational within a 4 year time period. Visioning Masterplans options, each supported by a min 3 minute 3D animated fly-through and CGI’s will be submitted by the participants and the winning submission will be awarded a prize of QAR 300,000.
The Closing Date: Monday, 02nd July, 2018 at 12 noon (local Doha time, GMT +3:00)
Any participation received by the Ashghal after this deadline for submission may, at the sole discretion of the Ashghal, be rejected as non-compliant and will remain unopened. No other documentation, including brochures about your company, additional information etc., should be included in your submission, other than that requested.
